Friendly & Relaxed Queer Life Drawing Sessions in Withington, South Manchester!

What You’ll Receive:
Schedule:
- Arrival: 6:30 PM - 6:40 PM
- Session Start: 6:45 PM (prompt)
Session End: 7:45 PM
Session Breakdown:
- Warm-up: Short 2/ 5 minute poses to warm up (6:45 PM - 6:55 PM)
- First Half: Shorter poses ranging between 10 - 15 minutes each (6:55 PM - 7:20 PM)
- Break: 5 minute break to stretch and choose new supplies (7:20 PM - 7:25 PM)
- Second Half: We will just do one longer 20 minute pose in this half (7:25 PM - 7:45 PM)
Important Info:
- The Space: The session will take place in the upstairs of a pole dance studio, there may be a class going on downstairs which will have background noise
- Access: The space is accessed via spiral stairs, unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible
- Toilets: Please note as there may be a pole/ aerial class taking place downstairs unfortunately there is no toilet access during the session
- No shoes in the space: this is to protect the dance floor, we recommend bringing comfy slippers!
Meet Your Host: Ben Saunders (he/him)
Ben Saunders is a queer, trans masc illustrator and ceramicist based in Manchester. His work focuses on queer and trans bodies and he aims through his work to provide a space to encourage people to feel safe to express their sexuality and love for their body without fear of fetishization.
Ben has been running queer and trans specific life drawing sessions in Manchester for a number of years in a range of venues and he always aims to prioritise creating a relaxing, welcoming and friendly queer safe space to allow you to take time for yourself in a friendly, supportive environment.
