The moment you’ve all been waiting for is here 🤩 I know the build up has been full of suspense and mystery! Well done for holding on so long 😇
It’s our next workshop 🥁🥁🥁
📔📓 JUNK JOURNALING 📓📔
Inspired by the eclectic, borderline hoarder, that is our founder, India, we have decided to bring you together for a fun, sustainable, impactful (and really easy) crafting session! Junk journaling is the idea that even your recycling bin can provide inspiration for art, and there is something cathartic about cementing memories of fun days out by sticking the receipts and wrappers from the sweets you ate in a book, creating meaningful pieces of art from the hundreds of iced latte cans you’ve drank this summer and processing the emotions that came with those hundreds of parking tickets you might have recieved over the course of your uni years.
We’re inviting you to bring your recyclables (no please don’t bring your old banana skins) to us on the 9th October to claim your free sketchbook to stick them in 😍 I mean who doesn’t love free stationary, right?
We are asking for whatever you can pay on this one folks, with a suggested donation of £1-3. We hope this continues to make our events accessible and inclusive, whilst helping us build the foundation for our own open access community hub, creating the first sober space dedicated to queer and neurodivergent folk in Dover!
Once again, we are so grateful to be at our favourite cafe and the fabulous team at La Salle Verte will be behind the counter serving the most delicious coffees, teas and sweet treats!!
So that is that punks, book ya tickets, collect your scraps and get ready for a marvellous evening of crafting.. easy right?! 😜
Loves ya all,
The team at The Late Night Library🤘🏼
