💉💉Looking to get a dose of the new Gonorrhoea Vaccine?💉💉
We’re running two pop-up clinics in Cambridge Heath/Bethnal Green on 6th October and 13th October from 4pm-7pm! In collaboration with our friends at NHS Homerton, we'll be offering the Men B vaccine, a shot that has been shown to reduce transmission of gonorrhoea , in a safe, discreet, and community-led environment. The vaccine is FREE OF CHARGE.
You can learn more about the vaccine, the science behind it, the effectiveness, and the side effects, from our page here: https://www.queerhealth.info/projects/menb
MenB could be particularly beneficial for people from communities who are more likely to test positive for gonorrhoea. In the UK, this includes gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM), some transgender women, Black Caribbean communities, Latin American communities, and young people (aged between 15 and 24).
Our pop-up clinics are prioritising the following groups:
- Trans and non-binary people
- Queer migrants
- Queer people of colour
- People who feel anxious or unsafe accessing mainstream healthcare
- Sex workers
- Young GBMSM (gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men) or those new to London
Sign up below for one of our 30-minute timeslots on either day, and you're all set!
Booking and registration ESSENTIAL (don't show up without booking a place). Full details and FAQs when you sign up!
