La Monocle: Halloween at Little Louie
Saturday 1st November 2025
6:30pm - 12am
Step into the shadows… La Monocle invites you to a night where glamour and darkness meet. On All Hallows’ weekend, the monocle gleams sharper than a crescent moon, and the night's stars burn brighter than any lantern.
This time, we summon LEZTOPIA, creating a world where desire, rhythm, and queer ecstasy reign. Expect smoke, mirrors, and music that pulls you deeper into the night.
Dress up is essential…. (But not mandatory) Think spectral elegance, decadent creatures, the ghosts of Parisian cabarets past, or anything that haunts and dazzles. Halloween is the moment to transform. We will be awarding prizes for the best dressed throughout the night.
Tickets:
- Limited Early Bird: £5
- General Sale: £6
- On the Door (very limited after sell-out): £6.50
Little Louie becomes our hidden chamber for one evening only. Join us as we dance, drink, and haunt the night until the witching hour nears.
A monocle, a mask, a secret smile—wear them well.
Please note that photography and videography will be happening throughout the event. If we post anything and you don't want your image on our acount, let us know and we will remove it. If you don't want to be in interviews, let our team know and we will exclude you to the best of our ability!
La Monocle is a queer community bar and cultural space rooted in the values of inclusivity, empowerment, and resistance. Inspired by the historical legacy of lesbian and FLINTA* spaces, our mission is to create a safe, joyful, and affirming environment for FLINTA* (Frauen, Lesben, inter, nicht-binäre, trans und agender Personen) and lesbian individuals.
La Monocle is explicitly trans-inclusive and anti-discriminatory. We do not welcome TERFs or any exclusionary ideologies — our space is built on intersectional feminism, solidarity, and care. Our aim is to foster a community where queer people, particularly those marginalized within mainstream LGBTQ+ venues, can connect, organize, celebrate, and rest.
More than just a bar, La Monocle envisions itself as a cultural hub — hosting events, performances, readings, and discussions that centre queer and feminist voices. It is a place for both resistance and pleasure, honouring the radical history of lesbian and FLINTA* spaces while responding to the urgent needs of today’s queer communities.
We are hosting events to raise funds for opening our own permenant Lesbian & FLINTA* Bar in South London. Come and be a part of our journey.
*FLINTA is an acronym representing women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender individuals, emphasizing inclusivity and intersectionality within marginalized gender identities. At La Monocle, FLINTA is at the heart of our mission to create safe, celebratory spaces for these communities to connect and thrive. In South London, where diversity and grassroots activism shape the cultural fabric, embracing FLINTA embodies a commitment to equality, representation, and community-building in the face of systemic challenges. Allies are absolutely welcome, but FLINTA patrons are always prioritized. <3
