What is Queer Digital Detox?
It’s a gentle, in-person hangout for queer people who are feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or just sick of being online all the bloody time.
We’re here to slow down, switch off, and actually connect — with yourself, with others, and with whatever the hell feels good.
This is for you if…
- Your brain feels like it’s got a million tabs open and you’re done with it
- You want queer connection that isn’t about bars, dating apps, or exhausting big socials
- You’re fed up with the pressure to perform, explain yourself, or be “on” 24/7
- You want to rest, potter about, create, or just sit in a comfy chair without anyone asking why
- You want to give your nervous system a proper break from the endless scroll
- You miss feeling part of a queer community in real life — or want to find out what that even looks like
Where is it?
We've got a new home in the city - this month we'll be taking QDD to Merchant's House. Whether it's a coffee or a beer you fancy, we'll have you covered!
We’ve dropped capacity from 50 to 30 people so it stays chill, cosy, and not overwhelming — because, honestly, we don’t need any more stuff making us feel stressed.
When is it?
Wednesday 25th March, 7.30–9.30pm
