ATINUDA Creative Gathering:
In the context of the multiple crises we face today, what are the roles of creatives in the movement towards collective liberation?
This emergent gathering is for us to meet, share a meal and conversations about how our creativity and values can be made sense of, and put in service, to the movement towards collective liberation.
While some of us may already be embedding this in our respective practices, some of us may also still be seeking to understand how we can meaningfully embody this in our creative work, or desiring to pool together resources as part of a community practice.
This creative gathering is aimed at supporting us to connect with each other, to learn more about our practices, and to understand how we can, individually and collectively, further coordinate our efforts at a grassroots and global level, to move us through our shared desires for collective liberation.
Who can attend?
Black Creatives of African, Caribbean, Mixed, and Indigenous heritage.

Welcome to the ATINUDA Ecosystem…
ÀTINÚDÁ is a Yoruba word meaning “From within we create”.
Who we are
We are grassroots organisers building a creative ecosystem for Black people of African, Caribbean, Mixed, and Indigenous heritage, in solidarity with the Global Majority towards collective liberation.
We draw inspiration from radical Black and African traditions, expanding our imagination(s) of what is possible for us to collectively and sustainably create.
We are grounded...
As we recognise that we travel with the knowledge of many lives and stories, of those past and present, both seen and unseen, as we build together towards our futures of collective liberation.
By necessity, these liberated futures must be anti ALL forms of oppression, with an intentional and radical inclusion of ALL Black people.
