ABOUT ZAYN PHALLIC
Zayn Phallic’s next generation style of drag has been taking the cabaret scene by storm since he began performing in 2017. Known for nudity and mess onstage and collaboration and community off it, he has been featured in national and international media such as Diva, Boyz Magazine, Stylist Digital and The Independent whilst earning a residency at legendary queer cabaret night Bar Wotever. His performances have delighted audiences across the UK and he has proved himself a force to be reckoned with on the competition circuit as a finalist in Man Up 2017, Man Up 2018, Brighton’s Big Drag Pageant and Drag Idol UK 2018. In 2019, he returned to Man Up as a judge and is now seeking to raise the next generation of top drag kings.
As a producer, he is the creator and curator of the KOC (Kings of Colour) Initiative, a cabaret project that seeks to address the lack of diversity on the drag king scene, and that has been instrumental in the rise of a new generation of drag kings of colour.
Described as “hilarious and necessary”, Zayn Phallic is the drag king with a heart (and a hard on) of gold.
