FOOD, SEX & MONEY is a creative writing workshop hosted by Ben Kritikos. We’ll be exploring how Marxism can inform and enrich different writing practices—from poetry to polemics, from criticism to comics to songs and novels—through struggle with the real, concrete world in all its messy complexity.
Ben Kritikos is a writer, broadcaster and folksinger based in Glasgow. He hosts the radio show Red White Blues: an Anthology of America’s Music, a history of American citizenship told through jazz and blues records. He recently contributed to the second edition of The Housing Monster, published by PM Press and has written for Scottish Left Review, Greater Govanhill, The Guts Of It and elsewhere. He publishes cultural histories at the newsletter Spaghetti For Brains.
