Come join us at The Roasting Shed for a night of community and poetic exchange.
Whether you're a seasoned poet or just trying it out for the first time, our Poetry Open Mic is a warm inclusive place to share your creativity. Grab a cup of coffee, or wine, step up to the mic, and let your words flow. Open mic sign ups start at 6:30pm.
We are also very excited to announce Eric Yip will be our featured poet for the evening. Eric is from Hong Kong. He has won the National Poetry Competition and an Eric Gregory Award from the Society of Authors, and has been shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem and the Michael Marks Poetry Award. His writing has appeared in Best New Poets, The Guardian, The Poetry Review, and Poets & Writers. He is the poetry editor at Cha.
