Procreation is a creative writing workshop hosted by Aimee Ballinger that encourages participants to explore and write back to the experience of mother/parenthood.
We will be looking at outsider perspectives of the tender underbelly of parenthood, and thinking about the roles that parents and children are expected to hold across cultures. You don't need to be a parent to attend BUT we will be discussing the physical element of being a birthing parent/mother.
Aimee Ballinger is a writer, editor and writing mentor based in Glasgow, UK. Previous clients include WORMS, The White Review, Rosie's Disobident Press and Street Level Photoworks. Aimee is also the owner of Burning House Books.
