Hey stompers!
Dykeing Boots (@dykeingboots) is a community of queer people and allies based in Brighton and Hove.
October's stomp will take in the shoreline of Lancing & Shoreham By Sea and is suitable for wheelchair users, mobility aid users, folks who prefer a more relaxed pace and all seasoned stompers.
Key Info:
We will be meeting at Brighton Station to get the train together to Lancing. The start of the walk is 1km to Lancing Beach where we will meet any stompers who would prefer to travel by Bus or Car.
Meeting Point 1 : Brighton Station
Meeting Point 2 : Lancing Station
Meeting Point 3 : Lancing Beach
Meeting times/exact locations will be shared with stompers approx 72 hours before the walk and we'll be using the WhatsApp group to coordinate with those meeting us in Lancing. We will be walking along the shore to Shoreham-By-Sea, ending with a social in the pub!
General Info:
All are welcome on our walks and we do not tolerate any transphobia, racism, homophobia, sexism, ableism or any similar shite
🥾 As always, we cannot predict the British weather - please ensure you have appropriate and comfortable footwear and clothing for the stomp. The beach can get breezy!
🐕 We cannot stress enough how much dogs ARE SO WELCOME
🎫 We operate on a pay what you feel basis. Please know your ticket is valid whatever you pay, including if you get a free ticket. If you can pay, the suggested donation is £3 - all of this money goes back into the running of Dykeing Boots and towards our travel support fund.
🚨If you need any support paying for your travel to and from the walk please message your bank details to Amelia (in the Whatsapp Group) or email dykeingboots@gmail.com and we will send you enough to cover it, no questions asked🚨
