This winter settle in for live readings of classic short stories and excerpts of novels. Held in the cosy backroom of The Bees Mouth, sink into armchairs, sofas and stools to listen live, from 6.45-8.15.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before to get a drink, and find a comfy place to sit.
All ticket sales will go directly to TransActual, a trans led and run advocacy, education and empowerment organisation. This is their website - https://transactual.org.uk
On October 27th we'll be reading-
'The Goblin Market' by Christina Rossetti
A short horror story
An extract from ‘Frankenstein’ by Mary Shelley
While there's no open fire, you're welcome to bring your own cushions and blankets to stay cosy, and the bar will be selling hot chocolate for you to enjoy while you listen. You're welcome to discuss the pieces in the interval, but you won't be asked to talk about the work if you don't want to. This is a place to relax, forget about the outside world, and listen to something you might not have heard before.
If you would like exact pages so you can download the work and read along please contact us before the event.
