Trans Death Café is a space for all Trans and NB people to not only talk openly about death and dying as a concept but also as a thing we are experiencing in the here and now. It’s a space for us to talk about our personal and collective grief and to consider our own deaths in a way that is empowering and strengthening. (Please note that Trans Death Café is not a therapeutic space and should not be used as such.)
As this session is close to Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), we will use the last hour of the session as a remembrance space for trans friends, partners and family we have lost. Engagement is optional. If you would like to engage, we encourage people to have with them an item(s) related to the person or people they would like to remember. Please be mindful of your own wellbeing if you do choose to engage with this part of the session.
Schedule:
