Full description
What does authentic representation of disability in performance really look like?
Join Hi Campers for an open conversation exploring how disabled artists, audiences, and allies can shape the future of onstage visibility. Together, we’ll unpack how disabled people are currently portrayed, the stories that have been missing, and the creative practices that can help move us beyond pity or inspiration narratives.
This is part of the redevelopment process for Tommy’s award-winning show How Disabled Are You?, currently in residence at Brighton Dome. The session will directly inform the future of the work and aims to centre disabled perspectives throughout.
