An open informal educational discussion to understand the current attack on local communities in Nueva Vizcaya, Luzon who are defending their ancestral lands from a British linked mining company and the US-Marcos regime.
We will link it to wider climate injustices in the Philippines as well as how we diaspora and allies can support the land defenders back in our homelands, and uproot the sources of corruption and climate injustices in the Philippines and across the Global South. Join us in person or online!
There will be colouring devices, fidget materials, beans bags, and space for reflections and questions.
Open to all who are interested in learning more about climate justice.
Unfortunately we will not be serving ube latte…. Please bring you're own lunch for you, or for sharing, there will be a kettle and tap water on hand!
This space will be facilitated by Anakbayan UK members!
