It’s Homovember, duckies - the month where camp goes critical and queer takes centre stage. Felix & Friends are turning Tusk club into a neon cathedral of homo-worship, paying tribute to everything ever called “too much.” From Freddie Mercury in a frilly frock to the sleazy synths of 80s rebellion, we’re reclaiming the insults, polishing them, and strutting them back out under a disco cross.
Expect drag, comedy, live music, and nonsense from some of Brighton’s finest degenerates and divine idiots, all led by your gloriously unhinged host Felix Le Freak. Think I Want to Break Free meets Top of the Poppers!
Come as you are, or as the person your Year 9 nemesis warned you about. It’s loud, it’s proud, it’s queer as hell.
THIS MONTH
Superb standup from AJ MAYER-GESTO
Silly bits from BEVERLY MONET
Clowning around from ELLA THE GREAT as RICHARD MELANIN III
Musical mayhem from PEARL AND DEAN
Plus a few turns by your hostess with the mostest (gonnorhoea), FELIX LE FREAK!
🌕 WHERE / WHEN / HOW
Tusk Club (Downstairs at The Walrus)
Thursday 13th November — Doors at 7.30pm, Show at 8pm sharp
The venue serves food and drinks all night. There’ll be an interval so you can refuel, rehydrate, or practise your floppy wrists in the toilets.
🎟️ Tickets
Earlybird from £8 / General £10 / Last-minute £14
Pay-it-forward tickets help keep queer cabaret accessible. And if money’s tight, drop us a line — we want you there.
Felix & Friends is Brighton’s lo-fi, high-camp variety back-alley catwalk into the absurd.
Think cabaret. Think chaos. Think twerking as a waitress in a cruising bar.
Audience participation is welcome in the form of cheers, gasps, whoops, and interpretive shimmying. Hateful or disruptive behaviour will be left in the 1980s.
My wrists are positively flopping at the thought. See you there x
