Belle Brunson is a flautist beginning her third year of undergraduate study at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She started learning the flute at the age of eight through the Suzuki method which emphasises watching and listening first, following the philosophy that children learn to play music through immersion in the same manner they acquire language. This early experience of music making continues to inform her playing and appreciation that sound worlds and tone colours develop through one's unique learning experience.
She auditioned for the Hackney Borough Youth Orchestra in 2017 and then went on to join the London Youth Wind band in 2019, touring with them in Belgium. She was encouraged to join the Centre for Young Musicians, where she became a part of a wind quintet, chamber orchestra, folk group and flute ensemble. Inspired by her new love for performing with larger ensembles, Belle auditioned and gained a seat with the London Schools Symphony Orchestra where she was principal flute for three seasons performing regularly at the Barbican. Belle now studies with Sarah Newbold at Guildhall and is thoroughly enjoying the diverse number of opportunities presented to her, from orchestral repertoire classes to collaborations with jazz, folk and pop musicians.
Laoise and Belle have been playing together since they started Guildhall. The regularly perform with the ‘Sylva’ Flute Quartet and have also featured as a duo for a fund-raising event hosted by Action For Children. Belle and Laoise share a love of contemporary music, improvisation and folk music and have drawn upon these influences when programming their set.

Om Ensemble, established in 2022, is a multidisciplinary group that specialises in the percussive arts and audience engagement, creating innovative musical performances. By working with various artists from different backgrounds, the ensemble seeks to combine and integrate various art forms, offering them in a single immersive experience that challenges and expands the audience's horizons.
This performance brings together Jonny Akay, Alistair Welsh and William Boon in an electro-accoustic trio constellation of percussion, trombone and cello. Having previously played at Hackney Baths, and Spanners, and most recently a woodland residency in the heart of Essex, the trio will be channelling the woodland spirits in the form of a human forest in this immersive sonic ritual.
