I’m thrilled to invite you to Banana’s Art Club - Week 4! As this will be the last club before Christmas, I’ve decided to finish the year where we started… with another Collage Workshop!
The theme will be… Fireworks! 🎇
I will be demonstrating how to create Fireworks inspired Collages using scrap paper and Absract Prints! (As always, everyone is welcome to embrace the theme or follow their own ideas for the collaging).
For anyone new to Club Bananas wondering what it’s all about…
- Club Bananas is an exciting new art club focused on creating; mixed media, collage, prints and painting works, highlighting the use of recycled items and scrap materials to bring new pieces to life. (Led by local artist, Banana Holdwin).
- An inclusive space for fellow creatives to create care-free artwork, without the stiffness of classical art classes. Experimental and low-pressure with a focus on having fun and enjoying the process. A chance to let your inner child be free and be messy! As well as an opportunity to meet and chat with other artistic individuals.
- Each month will have a different theme, but mixed media will be a constant thread and there will always be space for attendees to bring their own work or choose where they want to take the practise.
- All materials are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own; art supplies, books, magazines, postcards, stickers etc!)
- We meet every third Sunday of the month at Set Social,
I also wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who was attended past events and supported the club! A big thank you to Set Social for providing the space and allowing these classes to go ahead and another biiiiig thank you to all attendees who have helped make Club Bananas a joyful, welcoming and calm space for everyone to enjoy!
