Poetry Workshop: Honouring Dr Refaat Alareer
In this poetry workshop we will draw on the poetic and pedagogic scholarship of Dr Refaat Alareer. Taking his cues to work attentively and parodically we will read a range of poems that engage with his deep understanding of poetic form. We will then approach antagonism and parody through a series of writing exercises and end the session with a collaboratively generated poem.
