Tantra takes men into their pleasure and joy: but can also help us relax and let go. At the end of our meetings, when we share about how we feel, many guys say something like “Relaxed and energised”. How can that be, when those feelings seem to be opposites?
Tantra certainly can wake up our feelings, awareness and erotic, life forces. Yet, like those men in the meetings, we can also feel a deep sense of space, letting go: both aroused and yet relaxed. Maybe something like this happens in dancing, watching a film… intense sex. Perhaps even during meditation. The paradox of intense pleasure with deep Emptiness - moments of just being in the moment, free of the pressure to ‘do’.
We will first, as always, check in with our understandings on safety, consent and confidentiality. We'll then connect, first of all through our breath, with how we are now: then start gentle connection through simple touch, before taking turns to become mindfully undressed, to whatever degree you are comfortable.
We'll then move into our various practices to arouse joy, relaxation and letting go. These will include an invitation to give and receive ‘rosebud massage’ - a variety of mindful, gentle, light finger strokes to the anus. This practice can combine deep pleasure and a release of tensions. (It may also be useful practice to add to your lovemaking in any encounters outside the workshop!). We'll finally add in genital massage, as a way let go even more fully into awareness and pleasure.
Please bring a sheet and a towel to lie on, perhaps also a water bottle.

(Notes on Pathway's location: Lord Byron ‘Square’ is actually a rectangular light commercial area, left off West Ashton Street: once in the area, follow the road, turn right at the T-junction, then left: Pathways is on the right.)
