This is the next round of our popular low-tech mushroom cultivation course :)Come and learn with Em and cee-cee of Hyphae Mushrooms in Pembrokeshire, west Wales. We've been growing mushrooms for over 10 years, selling commercially for 5 of those and running courses for many years now.
The course will run from 10am until 3pm (though sometimes it can run on to 3:30pm) and you will learn:
🍄 the life-cycle and growing conditions for primary decomposers, focusing on oyster and shiitake mushrooms🍄 cardboard culture - the simplest way to make your own mushroom “spawn” (kind of like a starter culture)🍄 growing oyster mushrooms in buckets with straw 🍄 growing shiitake on logs 🍄 uses for spent substrate🍄 integrating fungi into the veg garden
You will take home:
🍄 a bucket of soon-to-be oyster mushrooms🍄 a shiitake log🍄 cardboard culture🍄 the knowledge to care for all the above 🙂
