This is a workshop to do simple, confidence and craft building writing exercises and enjoy writing together.
We live in shifting times, we need transformative tools like writing to be strong in us and shared within our communities. This is a space intended for this. To strengthen our gifts and our connections.
We warm up writing, giving and receiving feedback. There's tools in place so the feedback isn't about what's "good" or "bad" but about following curiosity and enthusiasm, finding what works. We warm up simply, writing quantity rather then quality, and taking it slow.
We find our intention around writing on that day, and write whatever we want to, can be fiction non-fiction, a play, a letter, an essay, a story, a poem, a description, a dialogue, a mess of feelings ect
In the latter part of the session, i try to give everyone some more structured exercices and invitations, working with you to develop your writing.
There are three tiers for tickets, so this event can be accessible. If you are below the lowest tier financially, and especially if you're lgbtqia+, a body of culture/POC, in a war zone or if your country doesn't allow you to pay on this platform, please message me for a free ticket.
