✨📢LGSMigrants are open to new members in London!📢✨
📌Open meeting: 7pm, Monday 5th January 2026
In the face of the rise in racism, white supremacy, Islamophobia, and border violence, we are calling to our queer community to join us. Following the sellout success of our last open meeting, we are organising a new online meeting to make sure that everyone who missed out has a chance to attend.
Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants is a queer abolitionist group, working towards a world without borders, prisons, or police. Now more than ever, we believe in the importance of recognising how our struggles are intertwined, and acting in solidarity and community with migrants everywhere.
🗓️ On 5th January, we will be holding an Open Meeting to share our vision and aims for facing this political climate together. Whether you have been interested in joining LGSMigrants for a long time, or this is your first time hearing about us, you are invited to come along! 👀
The meeting will be ONLINE. If you register, we will send you Zoom details. Please be aware, however, that we are a London-based group; the focus of our organising is London, and our usual meetings are weekly in London. For those unable to attend meetings in person, we provide a hybrid option, but if you are permanently based elsewhere you may find organising with groups closer at hand to be more rewarding.
Tickets are free but we're including a ‘pay what you can’ option as we are currently fundraising to allow LGSM to keep running. If you are able to donate, please do - it helps us to cover our costs.
None of us are free until all of us are free!
