Rainer shares the Dora Love Prize, an educational initiative founded in 2012 for Years 8–10 students. It builds confidence to challenge identity-based prejudice, discrimination and violence, promoting inclusive human rights, including LGBTQ+ rights. The film The Fragility of Freedom: The Dora Love Prize 2024 (20 minutes) will be shown.

Speaker
Professor Rainer Schulze is Emeritus Professor of Modern European History at the University of Essex. He has led and advised major Holocaust and Bergen-Belsen projects, consulted on exhibitions and documentaries, including Liberation (2024), curated LGBTIQ film programmes, coordinated Holocaust Memorial Week, and founded the Dora Love Prize.
We warmly thank the Councillors of West End and St James’s for awarding us Ward Budget funding, which fully covers the costs of this Westminster Creative Social. The entrance to the archives is to the right of Morrison Court and then down a short pathway on the left. Please note there is no access to the archives from Great Smith Street.
