LGSMigrants is throwing a big birthday bash!
To celebrate 10 years of LGSM (and make sure we can keep going for 10 more) we are throwing a big queer party at Piehouse Co-op with some of our favourite DJs and speakers. We invite everyone who has joined us on the streets over the years (and those yet to) to join us on the dance floor and ring in our second decate of action with some radical queer joy!
10 years ago, LGSM was founded to oppose homonationalism, believing that none of us are free until all of us are free. That universal truth has never been more clear than it is right now. As we reaffirm our commitment to solidarity with migrantised people in the UK and displaced people around the world, we are also aware of the increasingly hostile environment for trans people in the UK.
We are raising funds to ensure we can keep fighting for another 10 years, but it is important to us that the event is accessible to everyone. Please pay what you can afford.
The venue is wheelchair accessible. Disabled attendees can add a ticket for a carer at no extra cost.
