Multi-instrumentalist and composer Robert Stillman presents his new record 10,000 Rivers, a genre-defying suite of jazz, ambient, and smooth pop–influenced compositions that critically reflect on technology, control, and early ’90s techno-utopianism. Blending synthetic textures with fragile acoustic improvisation and abstract soundscapes, the album moves between the human and the digital, the aspirational and the uncanny, standing as one of Stillman’s most ambitious works to date.
Stillman is joined by multi-instrumentalist Seán Carpio, with an opening solo set by Francesca Ter-Berg.
