As a direct response to the proposed UK welfare cuts, this zine explores disabled, sick, mad, and crip narratives of community, rage and joy. The submissions span across themes of access, gender, labor, the body, and time. It includes work from 18 disabled artists across the UK: diverse in age, race, gender, sexuality and artistic practice.

ABOUT THE NIGHT
There will be a few readings of works from the zine from 19:30 - 20:00 alongside creative and zine-making workshops running throughout the night. The event is free but ticketed to help us gauge numbers.
The zine will be available for purchase with 100% of the proceeds supporting Gaza Sunbirds.
ACCESS INFO
- The event will be held at Hill Station Cafe on Telegraph Hill.
- Hill Station Cafe has step-free access to the terrace and inside the cafe. The cafe has a wheelchair accessible toilet.
- Masks will be available for free on site but not required. Please don’t attend if you are feeling unwell <3
- The nearest stations are Brockley (12 min walk), Nunhead (10 min walk), and New Cross Gate (15 min walk). From New Cross Gate, there are a few buses that will take you up Telegraph Hill to the cafe.
- The cafe will be selling hot drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as a selection of bar snacks.
