Starting from Margate Station and riding through the town to discover the vibrant Rise Up residency street art murals that celebrate creativity, identity and community. The murals are raising awareness of ocean conservation and the issues caused by plastic in and near our oceans. From documenting ocean biodiversity to plastic hazards and ocean species, we will explore what they mean.
As we move through the streets and along the coast, we’ll also also take time to notice the natural world around us — sea air, urban wildlife and the role that green and blue spaces play in supporting our wellbeing. From coastal ecosystems to how public art can shape healthier, more connected places, this ride links science, creativity and community in motion.
This LGBTQ+ History Month, we’re celebrating innovation not just in labs, but in how we express ourselves, build belonging and reclaim public space with colour, stories and joy.
Easy pace, all welcome. Come ride, connect and experience Margate in a whole new way.
Move with pride. Move with purpose. Move together with Maroon Adventures.
**This ride is not insured, you will be attending at your own risk.**
