Whilst allies are welcome at this event, please be aware that this is a dyke punk-rock gig. We ask that you respect the space, buy an ally or sponsor ticket to support the dykes in the bands playing, and allow dykes to the front in the pit.
Venue and Accessibility
Santiago Bar is a rock bar in Leeds City Centre situated at 1-3 Grand Arcade, Leeds, LS1 6PG. The gig will be held in the upstairs event space in Santiago Bar, which is only accessible via a set of stairs. There will not be seating available in the gig space, but there is limited seating downstairs and outside the venue which can be sat at in between bands.
Safer spaces
We are striving to make Dirt Dykes events a safe space, but are aware that we can’t control the behaviour of all people in the space. We ask attendees to recognise that making the space as safe as we can requires a collective effort from all attending. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any sort of discrimination, harassment, or non-consensual behaviour, including towards staff and performers. We also expect that attendees will not question if others should be in the space, and will show respect to fellow dykes in the room.
If anyone is making you feel unsafe on the night, or if you have any other issues, please speak to one of our staff.
By buying a ticket for Dirt Dykes you agree to be responsible for your own behaviour, to not behave in a way that puts yourself or anyone else at risk, and to be respectful to all people in the space. If we believe you are behaving in a manner that is dangerous or disrespectful, you will be asked to leave the event and will not be offered a refund.
