COLLAB with KvLL COLONISERS!
Pom Poko is a 1994 Studio Ghibli film about a community of shapeshifting tanuki and their struggle to defend their home from deforestation and urban expansion. Come see the best insurrectionist raccoon film ever made.
Money will go towards Food Not Bombs O'ahu in Hawaii, an anti-colonial, anti-capitalist collective who share food, music, and necessities to anyone who needs it.
The next KvLL COLONISERS music show will be in tribute to Captain Cook's death in Hawaii and so our crafts workshop will be making a Captain Cook puppet to be beaten up at the show.
Let's bash Cook for the cooks!

THE FILM:
Animated by Studio Ghibli and directed by Isao Takahata, the film explores themes of folklore and mythology, as well as violent and non-violent resistance to ecological destruction as the tanuki (Japanese racoon dogs) struggle against the deforestation of their home from sprawling urban development using their shapeshifting powers.
MORE ABOUT Food Not Bombs O'ahu:
