Stitch a patch badge inspired by the Queerfest exhibition - with Sophie Neville

Join textile artist Sophie Neville for a fun hand stitching workshop. Take inspiration from the artworks in the Queerfest exhibition, and stitch your own momento of the festival!
Never done embroidery before? No problem, Sophie will get you started with some basic stitches.
Love hand stitching already? Great! Come along for some creative time with others in the exhibition space. Sophie is on hand to give tips and help you try some new stitches.
- Racism, transphobia, ableism, classism, queerphobia, fatphobia, misogyny and all other forms of bigotry will not be tolerated at our events. Please speak to the workshop leaders if you are made to feel uncomfortable at any point during our event, and we will be happy to assist you.
- There is an accessible toilets on site, and level access in the gallery; some of the floor areas are uneven, but these are clearly signposted.
- There are blue badge parking spaces available nearby
