Queer and Trans Bodies in Sport is a panel discussion with Tom Rees and Ola Daniewska, hosted by Kole Fulmine.
Our panel will explore access, barriers to entry, nutrition, hormones and injury prevention within running.
About our panel:
Kole Fulmine is a fitness professional and community organiser with over six years’ experience working with queer and trans bodies. He is the founder of Queer Running Club and TRANSCEND, and co-founder of Pecs Education and BEND Movement, creating safer and more inclusive spaces for queer and trans people in sport. As a coach, Kole centres empathy, energy awareness, and body connection, recognising the fear and barriers many people experience around exercise. Kole is also the Spitalfields lululemon running ambassador and hosts this panel discussion.
Ola Daniewska is an osteopath, physiotherapist, and coach with over 20 years’ experience supporting people in movement, sport, and recovery. Founder of OM, a multi-disciplinary clinic in East London specialising in sports rehabilitation and holistic pain care, Ola brings a nuanced perspective on how bodies are treated, supported, and sometimes misunderstood within sporting spaces. Her work centres personalised care that honours each individual’s lived experience, with a strong focus on inclusive and affirming approaches to health and movement.
Tom Rees is a performance nutritionist and founder of Wylde. They support active people to fuel their training in ways that feel balanced, sustainable, and realistic - no rigid rules or diet culture nonsense. Tom’s work sits at the intersection of performance, wellbeing, and how we talk about bodies in sport and movement spaces.
This event is open to members of Queer Running Club and all LGBTQIA+ identifying people interested in sport and movement.
