POLICY:
STRUT and QUEER LINE DANCING CLUB are spaces which prioritise the safety, comfort, community and joy of LGBTQIA+ people. There is a zero tolerance policy for any forms of homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, bigotry, harassment and violence.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Cecil Sharp House has step-free access to all floors via a lift. The lift can be accessed from the car park on the Gloucester Avenue gate side of the building.
Line dancing involves stepping in different directions, stamping, kicking, winding steps like the grapevine, twisting, turns & spins.
If you are hard of hearing/deaf we recommend you come to the front so you can clearly see the instructor’s feet.
There is plenty of seating so people can take breaks.
We offer free tickets for carers/access companions, please DM via Instagram to arrange.
