Dykes learn together! Join The Dyke Project on 21st February at the Feminist Library in Peckham on understanding and resisting the EHRC guidance. In this interactive workshop, we will demystify the EHRC and the guidance itself, provide resources and links to campaigns already underway to block the guidance being approved and create a space for us to work together to find ways for everyone to resist the guidance (you don't need to be a dyke to attend!)
If approved, the guidance will:
❗️create a two-tier system for trans and cis people in their workplaces, schools, universities and hospitals
❗️encourage the public to challenge anyone - cis, trans or gender non-conforming - on their existence in single sex spaces based on their appearance❗️push queer and trans people out of public life
There will also be a chance to screen print your own RESIST THE GUIDANCE t-shirt and get your hands on a dyke project manifesto! Tea and cake provided!
21st February, 2-4pm.
Please cancel your ticket if you can't make it anymore, as the library has a limited capacity.
