This full day workshop, part of Fetish Week London, builds on basic hypnosis experience; if you’re new, the Introduction to Practical Hypnosis (online) runs beforehand and offers a solid grounding.
By the end of this day, you’ll have extended your practical hypnosis skills, explored flexible application, and experimented with techniques in real time.
This is a second-level, in-person hypnosis workshop for people who already have some familiarity with how hypnosis works.
The focus is on developing confidence, flexibility, and real-world application. There is far less explanation than in the introductory course, and much more time spent practising, experimenting, and refining how hypnosis is actually used.
This is not an introduction. It assumes you already understand the basic container of hypnosis and are comfortable guiding and experiencing trance.
What this day is (and isn’t)
This workshop is:
- practice-heavy and experiential
- focused on application rather than explanation
- about moving beyond scripts and “doing it right”
- grounded in consent, agency, and choice
It is not:
- a beginner course
- therapy or hypnotherapy
- professional training or certification
- a play party or scene space
Who this is for
This day is a good fit if:
- you’ve already encountered hypnosis in a hands-on way
- you understand the basic shape of a hypnosis session
- you’re willing to practise with others throughout the day
- you’re curious about using hypnosis more confidently and creatively
You don’t need to be polished or advanced.
You can be rusty.
What matters is familiarity, not mastery.
If you’ve taken the Introduction to Practical Hypnosis course (online or in person), this day is designed to build naturally on that foundation. If you’ve learned elsewhere and feel comfortable with the basics, that can also be fine.
Kink & application
This workshop is taught with kink application explicitly in mind.
As part of Fetish Week London, the assumption is that many participants are interested in using hypnosis within kink, fetish, or power-exchange contexts. Techniques are taught cleanly and neutrally, and participants are encouraged to think about how they might adapt them for their own partners, dynamics, or scenes.
For example, we’ll work with things like:
- language patterns and presuppositions
- how suggestions land differently in different dynamics
- how intention, framing, and consent shape experience
The emphasis is on translation, not enactment.
This is not a play party.
There is no sexual activity, no roleplay, and no negotiated scenes during the workshop. Everyone remains clothed and grounded throughout, and the focus stays on learning and practice rather than play.
What actually happens on the day
This is a full, in-person practice day.
You can expect:
- time to experiment with techniques and language
- opportunities to adapt what you’re doing to different contexts
- feedback, reflection, and discussion
- less “how hypnosis works” and more “how this works in practice”
Most of the day is spent doing, not listening.
How the day is held
- This is a facilitated workshop with a clear structure
- You’ll practise with other participants, usually in pairs
- Roles during practice are about learning, not power exchange
- Consent is explicit and ongoing
- You can opt out of any exercise at any time
Although the content may be applied to kink, the power dynamic in the room is educational, not scene-based.
Emotional depth & boundaries
This workshop may be engaging, intriguing, and creatively stimulating.
It is not intended to be cathartic, therapeutic, or emotionally intense in a clinical sense. We are not doing trauma processing, hypnotherapy, or emotional release work.
The aim is confidence, skill, and understanding — not emotional excavation.
Experience & prerequisites
This is not an introductory workshop.
It assumes:
- familiarity with trance
- experience of both guiding hypnosis and being guided
- basic understanding of consent and the hypnosis container
If you’re completely new to hypnosis, the Introduction to Practical Hypnosis (online) course runs in June and is designed to give you the grounding needed to attend this day comfortably.
