ÀTINÚDÁ is a Yoruba word meaning “From within we create”…
For us, this relates to creating from within ourselves as individuals, within our community, and within our wider ecosystem, towards our interconnected liberation. We believe in community-building, creativity and collective liberation.
We are grassroots organisers building a creative ecosystem for Black people of African, Caribbean, Mixed, and Indigenous heritage,
in solidarity with the Global Majority.
We draw inspiration from radical Black and African traditions, expanding our imagination(s) of what is possible for us to collectively create.
ATINUDA Free Co-Working Day
Do you have something you need to finish or want to start working on? Would a space that centres Black creatives, who care about collective liberation, be the perfect brainstorming environment for you? The Co-working Day is a space to come, work, talk and share meals with fellow Black creatives who are centring liberation work.
The flexible format of the day means you can choose to work in collaboration with others on the day or work by yourself. There will be a shared 30 mins lunchtime, to get a chance to acquaint ourselves with each other.
We will then have an optional 1 hour skill-share workshop led by members of the ATINUDA ecosystem. This will be 20 mins of presentation/demonstration, and 40 mins of experimentation/application of the skills shared.
The upcoming Co-Working Days dates are:
