A note from Clara:
I’ve been a Sports Physio here in East London for the last 6 years, working with runners, triathletes, and the active community of East London. I recently took the leap into my own independent practice, CK Physio & Pilates, based in Mile End and online. I also currently teach Pilates at Fightzone London. Because of my physio background, my classes blend classical Pilates with mobility and “accessory work”, essentially rehab-based strength training.
I always say that Pilates isn’t a replacement for your mileage or your heavy lifting, it’s the perfect compliment to them! Even just doing Pilates once a week you can see a massive difference! It’s an opportunity to work on your stability and control, helping you feel “less tight,” more mobile, and more confident in your stride. Ultimately, that means performing better, reducing the risk of injury and recovering faster! I’m excited to share my love and knowledge for movement with you all. Can’t wait to see you on the mat!
