Graham Bell Tornado: The Quine that did the Strip at Inverurie | BUZZCUT 2026
The Quine that did the Strip at Inverurie is an autobiographical musical extravaganza about a transgender chameleon who grew up in rural Aberdeenshire in the 1970s. Mixing performance with audiovisual material from their vast and eccentric archive, it traces their career from their performance beginnings at rave parties in Glasgow, and in the first editions of Glasgay! to later collaborations with flamenco guitarists and the legendary cabaret artist Rampova in Valencia.
Graham Bell Tornado is a transgender writer and performer based in Valencia, Spain. They describe their work as “antitainment” - entertainment mixed with social critique. They use song, ritual, cabaret and mixed media to express their queer embodiment and ecotransfeminist concerns.
