In the words of the incomparable Maya Angelou: "We're back back back back again"
After a well-deserved summer hiatus, TUCKMASTER returns to the Old Nuns Head pun to deliver drag-adjacent nonsense in a format that's sufficiently unalike Alex Horne's Taskmaster to avoid litigation. We provide the drag queens, kings, and ridiculous tasks, and you just need to bring your lovely selves. Previous tasks have included "throw an egg in a cup", "marry two audience members", "have a selfie with the most legs", and "seduction".
Truly for fans of mad alternative comedy and drag alike, you won't want to miss this show.
But now I hope you're ready to meet this month's contestants!
PETTY NONSENSE
Petty Nonsense is an all ages family friendly spectacle...that is if you despise the brats! Whether it’s ripping out her own internal organs with her bare hands or destroying the innocence from all your beloved childhood characters, this London queen has more surprises than a Kinder Egg full of unlabelled brightly coloured pills!
AVA CARDO
A heart of stone that you’ll love the most, and a creamy middle so she goes great on toast. She’s lean, green but definitely not mean! She’s your loveable vegan all the way from the Midlands. Ava Cardo is a live singing glam queen who adores cabaret, drunken karaoke nights and vodka pineapple juice.
ANITA PISS
Lip syncs, comedy, art; Anita brings you the drag experience with an unexpected twist. Inspired by your favourite pop culture moments, the self titled ‘Clip Art Queen’ incorporates highly engaging visuals with performances that are guaranteed to make you laugh and think.A finalist in two of 2019’s biggest drag competitions, Lipsync 1000 and Gold Rush (season2), Anita is known for her infamous frown and very dry sense of humour.
OEDIPUSSI REX
The spit shine in a world of polish and returning champion of Tuckmaster, Oedipussi Rex is a Beardy Drag Barbarian currently pillaging his way across the land in search of fancy facial hair. Epic or tragic? You decide!
Each night is guaranteed to be unique, cheap, and totally unforgettable! Book in advance to avoid disappointment!
