From Palestine to Iran and Venezuela, the politics of Empire remain present and insidious as ever. From ICE to British border enforcement, we know that state racism, border enforcement and imperialism have intimately linked histories. Come join us on March 17th as we ask:
- What does Empire look like in its latest incarnation?
- How do we organise against an insurgent Far-right that wields identity politics?
- How do we build a politics which seeks the abolition of race itself and what does that look like in our organising?
The discussion will feature a panel talk, murmur and Q&A. Together, we'll discuss what strategies are going to be the most useful in resisting fascism, racism and Empire today.
After the meeting there will also be time to socialise over a free vegetarian meal.
