Details

Join artist Emma Bentley Fox to create studio-portraits using polaroid analogue film, exploring different ways of expressing, subverting and constructing gender!

In small groups, you will work from a selection of props and costumes from theatre and opera-houses to design your own characters and staging for self portraits, before taking them on instant cameras. At the end of the workshop you will have physical photographs to take away with you!

There will also be a chance to step inside of Emma's studio and darkroom and hear a bit about the analogue developing and printing process.

Queer Minds events are by and for LGBTQIA+ people (aged 18+)
Spaces are limited, so please only reserve a spot if you can definitely make it and cancel your ticket at least 48 hours ahead of time if you can no longer attend.
