Floor Is Yours is an occasional series of parties celebrating the DJs and producers we love with a simple brief: fun, warmth and daftness on the dancefloor. Music to tug at your heart, make you laugh, make you dance... Having kicked off proceedings with a truly epic inaugural party in February with Idjut Boys' Conrad McDonnell tearing the roof off, we now present Volume 2 - starring the one and only Red Rack'em!
Red Rack'em (aka Danny Berman) is the godlike genius behind some of the 21st century's most iconic tracks. Everyone remembers where they were when they first heard Wonky Bassline Disco Banger, the house tune of 2016; we loved 2024's sound of the summer, Italo Disco Banger, so much we named a hot sauce after it! Danny's been making great music for two decades (see also his Hot Coins alias) and his tunes have been championed by everyone from DJ Harvey to Four Tet, Moodymann, The Blessed Madonna and - get in! - Elton John.
Outside of the studio, he's played the world's greatest clubs from Berghain to Fabric to Smartbar (not to mention an amazing night at Margate Arts Club a few years ago with good friends Crazy P), and even headlined the Sydney Opera House, dishing out everything from disco boogie to deep house to broken beat to techno. As well as doing shows for the likes of SWU.FM, Rinse FM, WWFM and NTS and guest spots on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, Danny's also the creator of How I Program, a music producer community and mentoring programme. Is there anything this man can't do?!
It's now 10 years since Wonky Bassline Disco Banger first set dancefloors on fire with its deliciously daft off-kilter disco nonsense, so it seemed only fitting that we invited its creator back to the warm embrace of the Arts Club to send off summer 2026 with a bang on the August bank holiday weekend. Red Rack'em joins us on Saturday 29th August for a four-hour set with daft wonky disco at its heart. Diary that date, get your early-bird tickets now and get ready to get wonky.
