A free, open social for drag performers of all kinds and anyone who wants to meet them. No competition. No hierarchy. No mothers, just connection between ‘guardians’.
Welcome to the first ever Guardian Gathering — the open social event being hosted by Dragged Around London.
This is a free, relaxed afternoon for drag performers, aspiring performers, and anyone who wants to meet and socialise with the people behind the paint. No agenda. No competition. No showcase. Just a relaxed afternoon in a pub with people who love drag.
What to expect
Turn up, grab a drink, meet people. Whether you've been performing for years, you're just starting out, or you simply love drag culture and want to be around it — you're welcome here.
We believe drag performers rise faster when they support each other rather than compete with each other, and we wanted to create a space where that can actually happen. This is our first one, so come along and help us shape what it becomes.
Who is this for?
Drag queens, drag kings, non-binary performers, aspiring performers, and anyone who supports and loves drag culture. If you believe performers rise faster together than they do alone, this is your kind of afternoon.
We have zero tolerance for prejudice of any kind. This is a space built on respect, inclusion, and mutual support.
Come as you are. We're not in any kind of race.
This is a pay for your own drinks but is otherwise free to come along!
