Bet you didn't think I'd be back so soon!
Well, technically, I will still be recovering out of the country - but luckily, our good friend Mads (from Boots!) is going to step in while I'm on the mend. They'll be sharing their wealth of line dancing knowledge (maybe even a couple of tricky ones…)
While we've covered the funds of my top surgery, I'm now expanding the night to raise money for other people's gender affirming care. My goal is to provide donations to individual fundraisers, but in the meantime, the proceeds for the next few events will be going to We Exist - a trans collective & mutual aid group in London.
🌸 Arrive early to peruse the merch and get a drink (cause there are no drinks on the dancefloor!)
🌸 First lesson at 19:30; Second lesson at 21:00
🌸 PLEASE NOTE: the beloved raffle will be taking a brief hiatus while we grow the night and find out what feels sustainable going forward
Tickets are tiered, so pay what you are able (or simply donate if you won't be attending but would like to help the cause!)
ACCESS:
- Entire event is on the ground floor
- Step-free entry
- Wheelchair compatible doorways (exact measurements available upon request)
- Accessible toilet in main bar
- Line dancing is open to all bodies and experience levels. Dances are made up of simple, repeated steps like side steps, kicks, and turns. We'll take a break between lessons and there are plenty of places to sit.
