Older Queer Voices is delighted to invite you to the Older Queer Voices Festival, an extraordinary evening celebrating the stories, resilience, and contributions of older LGBTQ+ people, in partnership with Tesco, Booker and Best Food Logistics and N20.
This is a rare opportunity to honour and network with the generations that paved the way while creating an intergenerational platform to inspire and connect communities.
The evening will feature
• A special performance by Clare Summerskill (She/Her)
• Keynote address by Lisa Power (She/Her): LGBT+ Rights Campaigner
• Live podcast recording hosted by Raga D’silva (She/Her):
Theme - Bridging Generations: Celebrating Older Queer Voices, with,
- Jason Patel (He/Him): Actor, singer, and model, known for the movie Unicorns
- Liz Carr (She/Her): Actor and Activist, known for her long term role in Silent Witness
- Sue Sanders (She/Her): Founder, LGBT+ History Month
- Dan Porter(He/Him): Head of Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing, Chair LGBTQ+ Network Tesco
• Recognition of 10 Older Queer Icons for their lasting impact
