We're back and with a new venue! Join us on Saturday 9th May at The Pyramid at Anderston.
We've got a new offering this time - an off skate dance workshop followed by a skate session and open jam.
Running from 1 - 5pm, expect rhythm skating, dancing and great music.
1 - 2pm - Off skate dance workshop - Mark will lead a dance workshop inspired by house dance and hip hop foundations sharing ways to connect your skating to dancing. Focusing on finding YOUR groove, Mark will share a variety of exercises and small routines to build your confidence connecting to the music and movement!
2 - 5pm - Skate and Open Jam - We'll then get our skates on, first hour with Paulina sharing some skate moves fresh from Rolla Mexico. Then we'll have two hours of open jam where we can skate and dance together!
Tickets:
Off skate dance workshop - £12
Skate session and open jam - £8 / £10 / £15 (choice of ticket price depending on your budget)
If you can't afford a ticket, please get in touch through our instagram as no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
The meet up is suitable for all levels of rhythm skating. Come with friends or on your own, we welcome everyone!
Please note we do not provide roller skates and you will need to bring your own.
We want to make sure everyone stays safe, but there is always a risk when skating. So if you are new to skating please wear appropriate protection and we are not responsible for your risk during the meet up.
Ticket costs cover the hire of the hall and any additional profit will be used to fund future meet ups.
