Join us for a special evening celebrating the archive launch and wrap of the Club Kali “Where East Meets West” Heritage Project - a vibrant new archive documenting 30 years of queer South Asian club life, culture, and community.
This celebration event brings together friends, collaborators, and community to mark the completion of the project and share the legacy of Club Kali. Explore the archive collection and other LGBTQ+ heritage materials, join a guided archive tour led by the team at Bishopsgate Institute, and hear from the people behind the project.
As the evening unfolds, expect a warm kali welcome, live performances, and then hop into full celebration mode on a beautiful dancefloor! Drinks from cash bar.
And of course, no Club Kali party would be complete without music — DJ Ritu will be mixing up familiar Bollywood meets Hollywood dancefloor favourites.
