A wine tasting, but softer around the edges.
Join us at Something Good Workshops in Deptford for Good Wine, a relaxed, social evening where wine tasting and simple drawing are woven together throughout.
You’ll be guided through a tasting of six wines by our in-house wine expert, Jack Wild. The focus is simple: helping you understand what you actually like, without jargon or pressure.
Between wines, we’ll ease into a series of light, hands-on drawing exercises. They are playful, low-pressure, and designed to help you slow down and notice more in what you’re tasting.
This isn’t a formal class or a traditional workshop. It’s something in between, a shared experience that is social, sensory, and a little bit different.
No drawing experience needed. No wine knowledge required. Just curiosity.

About your wine guide
Jack has worked in wine and restaurants for the entirety of his career and is particularly passionate about the democratisation of wine (and conversely Champagne, but aren’t we all hypocrites?).
Working with Boutinot, he’s helped shape the wine list behind our bar. His approach is relaxed, informative, and rooted in helping people discover what they genuinely enjoy.
