📍 Copeland Gallery, London SE15 3SN
💬 English (supported by Cantonese and Mandarin)
Join us for a panel discussion with Yinlo, Jade Lam, and Alison Hui, as they reflect on their publishing journeys across diverse formats and artistic practices.
The panel will begin with the speakers sharing their unique publishing journeys: the creative process from initial idea to finished book, and what keeps them motivated to return to the page and publish their next title.
As creators who have relocated from Asia to the UK, they will then reflect on how geography, language, and culture shape their work, and how they navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with different publishing formats. Drawing on their experiences across both worlds, they will share insights into the differences between Asian and Western publishing practices and discuss how to maintain an authentic tone of voice across languages.
If you're a writer, an artist, or simply someone thinking about publishing your work — come along!
