Bio.

Plus Size Pole and Aerial (PSPAA) is a community group that aims to create spaces and opportunities for plus size people. The spaces are created for people to show up as themselves and be able to experience freedom to explore joyful movement and feel unconditional support. Founded in November 2024 by Velvet Summer - a plus size pole dancer herself, PSPAA will be hosting pole and aerial jams for the plus size community throughout the year with more exciting spaces and opportunities being planned for the future.

Event details.

This event is a pole jam for plus size folks. The event is being held on 10.05.26 from 12.00-15.00 at Asteria Studio.

To keep costs down for this event, there will be no goodie bag however we will have stickers and our polaroid camera with us for anyone who wants a sticker and a photo.

For anyone who would like one (or more) of our custom garters, you can find these in the event add-ons.

PSPAA events are spaces specifically created for plus size people. The spaces are intended to be safe, respectful and inclusive. Should the organiser be made aware of any individual who does not respect the valves or has behaved inappropriately, the organiser reserves the right to deny access and entry to this event and any future events. If you are denied access to an event for which you have already purchased a ticket, you will not be liable for a refund.

By purchasing a ticket you confirm that you will be 18years of age or older on the date of the event.
By purchasing a ticket you confirm that you have attended some classes or received some instruction for the relevant discipline before attending the event.
By purchasing a ticket you confirm your understanding that this not a taught event.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be filmed and photographed by the organiser or a member of their team at the event.
Any media obtained during the event by the organiser may be used on the Plus Size Pole and Aerial social media account, website (once created) and in advertising future events.
Tickets are nonrefundable, however if you can no longer attend, you can sell your ticket to another person. Tickets must not be sold for profit.
By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing that you are of sound mind and physical ability to be participating in the event.
I understand that I take part entirely at my own risk, and it is my responsibility to inform the organiser directly of any medical concerns, special requirements and medications that may be required.
By participating in the event, you understand that pole dancing, pole fitness and aerial activities can be a strenuous, challenging and physically demanding form of exercise.
By participating in the event, you understand that the movements and techniques involve skin contact with the apparatus, and related bumps and bruises can and may occur.
By participating you waive and release any and all claims whether for personal injury, property damage, damages, losses and/or death that may arise from my participation in/on/after the event.
I accept, assume and undertake the risks, and agree to using my best judgement and to abide by all safety instructions and recommendations, whether oral or written.
I understand that is my responsibility to check and test the apparatus at the start and throughout the event.
